Volunteerism – Interested residents can help with the stewardship of the various properties through litter clean-ups, trail maintenance, and exotic plant management.  You’ll be among friends, out in nature and at the same time be helping the environment in your local community.

Becoming a Member – Memberships are available at several levels, including:

  • Standard or Senior
  • Individual
  • Family
  • Business / Organization
  • The Pine Creek Land Conservation Trust
  • > is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1991;
  • > is dedicated to the acquisition and protection of natural areas in the Pine Creek Watershed of Allegheny County;
  • > has as a purpose to keep land in a natural state forever;
  • > is a local grassroots organization.
  • Benefits of Natural Areas:
  • > Natural areas under land protection contribute to increased wildlife diversity, flood prevention, and clean air and water;
  • > Conservation lands provide residents with scenic areas for walking, bird watching, and nature study.
  • Upcoming Meetings:
  • Monthly meetings of the PCLCT are held at the Northland Public Library on the second Thursday of each month, with the exception of July and August.  The upcoming meetings will be:
  • November 14th, December 12th, January 9th, February 13th, March 13th, April 10th, May 8th and June 12th.
